Olas perfectas para surfear

Muchas personas eligen Lanzarote por su tranquilidad y la belleza de sus playas y muchos jóvenes por sus fantásticas olas para la práctica de surf. Esta isla posee las olas más potentes y consistentes del archipiélago Canario y de toda Europa.
Un dato que deben tener los amantes de este deporte es que al tener tanta roca volcánica, sus aguas presentan más spots para la práctica del surf que del windsurf ya que hay días en los que no hay nada de viento. Algunos lugares en los cuales hay viento casi todo el año por la rompiente se tornan inaccesibles o sumamente peligrosos por la cantidad de piedras, sin embargo a lo largo y ancho de sus costas durante todo el año se forman olas perfectas.
En invierno la temperatura es ideal y las playas están casi desiertas por eso resulta una época ideal para surfear, la temperatura del agua es de 18° mientras que la del aire es de 20°, con un traje de 3-4 mm alcanza para estar bien. Desde hace años las aguas de Lanzarote son elegidas por los mejores exponentes del surf para entrenar de cara al calendario de competencia europea, aunque no sea profesional anímese y disfrute.
